Will my daughter be treated as creamy layer, if my salary is less than 4 lacs for the last 3 years?
I am a retired Gr. B Officer and drawing pension since 1st. March, 2013. My salary in the year of retirement i.e. Gross Salary multiplied by 12 was more than 7 lakhs. My wife is a housewife. My pension and other income as per last 3 Assessment years is less than 4 lacs. At my age of 40 years I was one Gr. C staff of Central Govt. Can my daughter apply for OBC as per our sub-caste. Whether my daughter will be considered as Creamy Layer?

If your salary is not more than 6 lacs per annum at present, then surely your daughter will be under creamy layer. You need to get substantial proof to show your income as 4 lacs per annum.
If you are sure that salary is 4 lacs, then surely you can get the benefit of OBC category for your daughter. |
