I want to be an IAS but for it graduation or any kind of degree is needed, and I am not interested in doing graduation but instead of this I want to become something really great holding a top most position, and not engineer or doctor as it is very common.

Re: Is graduation required for IAS exam?
Yes, graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum qualification required for IAS examination. UPSC conducts the exam in the name of civil services exam every year. There is no percentage criteria for this exam and you just need pass marks in graduation.
Therefore, if you are not interested in graduation then you will not become eligible for IAS exam. Without education you can enter politics which is also considered great by many people but its not easy for anyone. |
