Procedure followed to get admission for Ph.D?


How can we get Ph.D admission? Can you please give me the procedure which I need to follow for the same? What would be the criteria needed for this? It will be helpful if you can guide me soon on this as I need to apply for the course soon. Thank you!

Candidates who have completed their master's degree are eligible to get admission to pursue Ph.D. Only the candidates who have scored 1st division throughout their career are eligible to apply for the same. With the above eligibility you have to appear for Ph.D entrance examination (NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR JRF) followed by personal interview.

In order to get admission at first you have to choose an institute and get the application form from the official website of the institute. Now fill it up, attach the relevant documents and address it to the authorities with the application fees.
