No, you are not eligible to appear for UGC NET examination with 45% aggregate in post graduation.

UGC conducts NET examination for recruitment of candidates as Lecturer or Junior Research Fellow. To appear for examination candidates need to have minimum of 55% aggregate with relaxation for reserved category in post graduation course.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination. The examination is conducted twice every year. For more information visit at www.ugc.ac.in.

Eligibility criteria for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test:

Master's degree or post graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates of post graduation can also apply for this exam. NET is held twice every year.

You can not apply for this exam as you have 45% marks and minimum percentage required is 55% in master's degree.

UGC NET stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. UGC conducts this exam in June and December every year. The exam is conducted for:

1. Lectureship: There is no upper age limit.

2. Junior Research Fellowship: Upper age limit is 28 years.

Academic qualification required for this exam is master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The percentage of marks required in this exam is 55% in master's degree.

You can not apply for this exam with 45% marks in master's degree.

National Eligibility Test is entrance exam for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship for post graduate candidates.

To apply for this exam, a candidate must have at least 55% marks in post graduation degree from any UGC recognized university.

Since you have only 45% marks in master's degree, you are not eligible for this exam.

The eligibility criteria for National Eligibility Test conducted by University Grants Commission is:

>>Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates in final year of master's degree can also apply for this exam.

>>In order to apply for this exam, a candidate must have at least 55% marks if he belongs to general category and 50% for OBC and SC/ST category.

As you have only 45% marks in master's degree, no matter to which ever category you belong you can not apply for UGC NET exam.
