Am I eligible for clerk job in private sector bank after completion of graduation with 53 percentage marks and pursuing M.Com? Can you please give me the details on the minimum eligibility criteria required for the same? Awaiting to get the response soon. Thanks!

You are not eligible to apply for Clerical cadre recruitment's with 53% marks in Graduation. The basic educational qualification and percentage criteria is as follows.

>> Minimum Qualification required for the post of Clerical cadre in Private Banking sector is "Graduation" in any discipline from a recognized university.

>> The minimum percentage required in Graduation is 55% marks. As you have secured less than what is required, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Private sector bank jobs.

>> I suggest you to apply for Government based banking sector as there is no such minimum percentage criteria.

Yes, as you have completed your graduation with 53% marks and pursuing M.Com, so you are eligible to become a clerk in private banks. But, as you want to apply for clerk position, so for that you should have scored minimum 55% marks in 12th standard from a recognized board. Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years, for OBC candidates the age is relaxed by 3 years and for SC/ST candidates it is 5 years. You must be an Indian citizen.

With the above eligibility criteria you have to appear for bank examination and hence, if you qualify the examination with good marks then you can become a clerk in private banks.
