Respected sir,
I am pursuing diploma in mechanical engineering.Am i able to join in marchant navy and get job in this
field after complite my course.And is there any required for hight&weight.I am also st candidate is any reserve quota for categorywise.How i enter in this field?

No you cannot get a job in Merchant Navy after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as per the education qualification.You are not satisfying the education qualification which is needed for applying for Mechanical Engineering.


For joining in Merchant Navy,the candidate must have done courses like:

• B.E Marine Engineering
• M.E Marine Engineering
• B.sc Nautical Science

If you have done any of the above courses then you can join in Merchant Navy.
