dear friend since you are from the mechanical engineering you are eligible to join in the merchant navy
the students from marine engineering field can directly join in the merchant , those from mechanical field have to undergo for a pre sea training ,
there are 2 ways to join in the navy either you can join after 12th or you can join after graduation ,
one more thing is that there is an entrance exam for the selection of the candidates ,...........

but sir m in sy mech diploma ,if it is possible to go for mechany navy?any other way?

Eligibility :
For Diploma Mechanical Engineer : DIP (Mech./Electrical) With 50% aggregate marks from AICTE approved Universities / Colleges. Minimum 50% marks in English at 10+2 or 10th level is a must. Fluency in written and spoken English.

Age :
Not exceeding 28 years on the date of commencement of training.

Medical Fitness : Medically fit with eyesight 6/6, with or without external aids. Maximum power permitted 2.5.No color blindness. All candidates have to pass complete medical examination and mandatory tests prior to joining at the Academy. Phoenix Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. have panel of qualified doctors and requirements as per ILO Convention 147 Seafarer's Medical Examination.

Since you have completed mechanical engineering then eligibility to join merchant navy still exists. And you are from mechanical branch then, firstly you have to go through pre sea training. You can join after 12th as well as after graduation. For this firstly you have to go through an entrance exam.
