According to me there is no any provision in CBSE to appear with Arts. CBSE is fully English medium and it provides only option of Science and Commerce.

I am sorry to say that you cannot appear as a private candidate for 12th board examination after having dropped studies in class 11. You need to clear your 11th standard from a recognized Institute in order to be eligible to appear for your 12th board examination.

You cannot appear for 12th board examination from any board without having cleared your 11th class from a recognized University. Therefore, I suggest you to kindly appear and clear your 11th board examination and then should opt for your 12th boards.
