Minimum percentage of marks required in 12th board exam for admission in IIT?
I want to know that , what is the minimum percentage required for IIT in 12th board examination of RBSE board? I mean even if i clear the Jee what about minimum requirement in 12th?

To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination to take admission in IIT, you must have to secure at least 75% (70% for SC/ST) aggregate marks in your 12th standard from a recognised board. You must have to secure top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. By qualifying and securing good rank in JEE Advanced examination, you can get admission in IIT.

You need at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCM stream to become eligible for admission in IIT. There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates.
Hence, if you fulfill the above criteria then you can surely appear for JEE Main exam. Admission will be on the basis of rank in entrance exam. |

The admission in Indian Institute of Technology is given on basis of performance in Joint Entrance Examination. JEE has two stages, candidates who clear both stages are eligible for admission in IIT. First stage is JEE Main, minimum percentage of marks required for Main stage is 50% in PCM subjects in 10+2.
After clearing JEE Main candidates become eligible for JEE Advanced. For JEE Advanced candidate must have 75% marks in 10+2 board exams. If you clear JEE main, you must have at least 75% in board exams for advanced stage. |

To get admission in IIT, you must have completed 12th standard with minimum aggregate of 75% marks from a recognised board. In case of SC/ST category candidate, there is 5% marks relaxation.
You must have to appear, qualify and get 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. By qualifying and securing good rank in JEE Advanced examination, you can get admission in IIT. |

To get admission in IIT candidates have to appear and qualify in JEE Main as well as Advance stage.
The minimum required to get admission in IIT is candidate must have among 20 percentile score in 10+2. So, if you have qualified in Mains and scored aggregate among 20 percentile candidates. |

Indian Institute of Technology is the best technical institute in India. The entrance exam for this institute is very difficult.
Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Percentage of marks required for different stages of JEE: 1. JEE Main: 50% marks in 12th board exam. 2. JEE Advanced: 75% marks in board exam. Only JEE Main candidates who qualify are eligible for JEE Advanced. |

IIT is the dream institute of every individual candidate who want to do Bachelor of Technology or engineering in any discipline.
*You will have to crack both stages of JEE exam which is JEE Main and Advanced. JEE main is first stage and for this exam, every candidate of PCM stream should have at least 50% marks. *Once you qualify this stage, you become eligible for JEE Advanced and for this stage, you must have at least 75% marks in board exam. |

IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology and to get admission in institute you have to qualify in JEE.
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and it is conducted in two stages as Main and Advance. The minimum eligibility to appear for JEE Advance is candidate must have scored marks greater than 20 percentile score of board examination. |

One needs to clear JEE to get admission in IITs. JEE is conducted in two stages, i.e., JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED.
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted by CBSE Board for admissions in UG eng./architecture courses in NITs, IITs and other institutions through JEE Mains examination. And, admissions in IITs are made through JEE Advanced examination. Eligibility criteria for IIT JEE exam:- -The candidate should have passed 12th with at least 50% marks in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Bio-technology as optional subjects . -The candidate upper age limit for JEE Main is 25 years. Age limit is relaxed by five years for SC, ST, PwD candidates. |

Minimum percentage required in 12th in the non medical stream is minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories from recognised board. Age limit should not be less than 17 years. Once you qualify the Mains Examination you will be eligible to appear in Advanced Examination.

Every candidate need at least 60% aggregate in 12th board for admission in IIT.
Candidate must have to clear entrance test to come under counselling for admission in IIT. If any candidate gets qualified in entrance test and fails in board exams then he or she will be not eligible for admission. |

JEE stands for Joint Entrance examination.
To appear for any examination of engineering, you must at least 50% marks in board examination. For JEE main, it is 50% and that for admission in IIT, in JEE Advanced 75% marks in board exam is required. |

In order to get admission in IIT, only your 12th mark sheet is not the criteria. You will have to score really well in JEE(Mains) examination and after having scored well in the examination, you will be very much eligible to get admission in IIT.
You should however have scored a minimum of 50% in your 12th PCM and not less than that. However, if you score better marks in your 12th, it is good for you only. 50% is just the minimum eligibility criteria. |

I have scored the following marks in XII cbse 2017,physics - 84,biology - 95,chemistry - 79 and maths - 48. Am I eligible for jee main, If I improve in maths, will that marks be taken into consideration, separate minimum marks for p, c, m is required

To get admission on IIT you have to crack JEE exam.
JEE has two stages JEE Main and JEE Advanced. A candidate must be 12th passed with physics chemistry and mathematics as the main subjects to apply for JEE. A candidate must have minimum 75% of marks in physics chemistry and mathematics to apply for JEE exam. |
