I know the total marks of the CDS exam is 300,i wants to know how much numbers(marks) enough for passing,and i am a SC candidate then anything difefrent in marking process of CDS examination?

Dear friend,

The entire information about exam is given bellow.
1. One Farm Super intendent in Farm Mach inery, Training and Testing Institute

1.Written examination as shown in Para 2 below.
2.Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ?B? of this Appendix)of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres.

2. The subjects ofthe written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:

(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

The maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be 300,300,300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers? Training Academy respectively.

3.The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questionsonly. The question papers (test book lets) of general knowledge and elementary mathematics will be set in bilingually in hindi as well as english.

4. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.

5.Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.

6. The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.

7.The candidates are not permitted to use calculator for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets).They should not there fore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

Sorry there is nothing like mentioned any relaxcation in result for sc/st student. so be prepaired mentally.

For qualifying CDS written examination you must score around 50-60% minimum out of 300. scoring atleat this much of mark can assure you for the second round i.e for the interview and other selection process.

I am have recently given the exam of CDS I feb,2011 in that there was 120 Qn in each paper so what is the mark of one 1 Qn and how much mark is require for qualifying exam.

i think the cut off is not more than 85-90 in that exam

CDS exam consists of 300 marks and there is no transparent system where we can declare that by scoring such marks you are assure of second round. But its seen that people those who have attempted above 60% correctly get the call for the second round. So if you have done around 180 marks and above then am sure that you will receive the call letter for the Interview.

hallo friend, i want to know that i have given CDS OTA exam in that i have got 80 in english and 35 in Gk as per ans sheet which is given on internet. so is it ok for quilifying in exam actualy i m still dont understant how the y calculate markes beucase Q is 120 and marks is 100 so we should calculate marks as par our right ans ore as par of 100 marks out of 120 Q?

i want to know that8 i have given OTA exam in that i have got 80 marks in GK (One marks for one Q) and 35 in GK so is it ok for Qualifying the OTA exam ? what would be minimum cut off approx as per you?

hey i'm getting 47 marks in english nd 25 in gk,is it ok to qualify me to get a ssb call b'coz i'm getting approx 70 to 72 marks out of 200 in ota nd it makes only 35% marks on recently held 2011 CDS EXAM.

i have 35 marks in english and 15 marks in gk for the ota under cds written exam.will i be able to move further for the next step of the selection mode ..

dear friend, CDS exam is conducted twice a year. so, cds-I is conducted in mth of FEB. and cds -II is in SEPTEMBER.

any idea when cds1-2011 written results will be out

what is cds 1 and cds 2??
Is cds 2 can be attempted by students not appeared in cds 1??

tere is no defference in tese two just for convinence 1 is organised in feb and other in sept.

when will be the result out for cds 1-2011

2 nd week of june is the week when cds 1 res will be out

This is only for OTA.

Quick question here, is it the cumulative score (Eng and GK) that they consider in the end or individual score of the subjects.

It's not possible that you get 100 in Gk and 20 in English viz. 60% and they call you for the SSB interview right?.... or do they?

hi...i had appeared for cds 1 2012 - i almost know that my performance in this exam will not take me to the second round.
So,i planned to appear for the next exam....I am eligible for the next exam 'cdsII 2012' by just a month diffrence for Air force acadamy...
Suppose if i clear next exam and qualify in all sorts,will there be any problem at the time of joining AFA because of age limit,
as my eligibility is confirmed just by a monyh difference.
My birth date is 05/08/1990....
