I am doing my 3 rd yr B pharm and i am decided to join pharm D. Many informed me that (pb) pharm D candidate have no opportunity to go USa so i am thinking of doing my Pharm D there in USA..someone told me that it is possible to do pharm D lateral entry in USA and london ..if so what will be the procedures and fees structure...which place is better to do Pharm D(pb) other than india... i am waiting for your reply sir...

I am extremely sorry to state that you cannot get admission in USA through lateral entry scheme for Pharma D. course. This provision is not present for the overseas students. You need to take admission from the first year of the course. The admission in Pharma D course is basically done on the basis of entrance exams - NAPLEX, FPGEE along with one English proficiency test - IELTS/TOEFL. The fee structure varies from one institute to another;hence cannot be stated accurately. It can range from 8-25 lakhs. It is better to pursue the course in abroad owing to the vast scope of job opportunities in USA and better infrastructure for learning.
