Indian Navy SSC as Pilot 2012
Indian Navy is the most responsible Force in India. There are several attractive opportunities are there in Indian Navy. Indian Navy has an examination for selecting Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers as Pilots. The status and respectable position of the post makes a large number of candidates all over the country applying for the post. The Selection process is not a simple one.
Structure of INA SSC PILOT Test
The Ministry of Defence (Navy) Integrated Headquarters have the power to short list the eligible candidates from the pool of applicants. The candidates are selected depend on their higher educational qualification and the percentage of marks. The cut off mark is fixed on the base of their educational qualification. The Short listed candidates are call upon for the interview. The selection is only merit based.
The SSB interview period is five days, having two stages. The first stage is completed within the first day itself and the remaining four days are for the second stage. The first stage consists of an Intelligence test. A Picture Perception and Group Discussion Test are also there. The result of the first sage is announced on the same day itself. Those who are qualified in the first stage can attend the second stage tests. The second stage tests include
Psychological tests, Group Task tests and Interview.
The candidates who come across these tests will have to go through Aviation Medical Examination and a Pilot Aptitude Battery Tests (PABT) for the pilot Cadres. The candidates who overtake PABT and who are medically fit have to be appointed for the training and should be based on the merit lists.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who have completed graduation with 65% marks and who have secured
60% marks in plus two with Physics and Mathematics as subjects are eligible. Unmarried candidates are eligible for the post who have the age group between 19-23 .
The physical requirements as per the notification should be satisfied the candidates for the above post. The candidates possess at least 162.5 cms height and the weight, leg length etc. should be in correct proportion with the age and height.
The candidates have colour/nightblindness lose the chance. The suitable power of eye vision is 6/6, 6/9 and it should be correctable to 6/6, 6/6.
How to Apply?
The candidates are able to download the application from the official website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in and use it. Otherwise they have to set up it in your own handwriting. Typed application form on a A4 size paper can also be used .The application will be forward along with the all copies of the attested certificates to prove your qualification. The application should be send online or offline. Both should be followed by the specific format in the notification. The applications can be proceed to the following address:

How to fill the Form?
The candidates should give more concentration in filling the form. The first thing is read carefully the instructions given in the notification. The candidate should fill the form in his own handwriting and the all the information given in the application should be checked carefully for sending it. Any false information about you in the form will lose your chance. The completely filled application form along with the required certificate should be forwarded.

SSB Interviews are held within the period of February- June, 2012 and the applications for this shall be accepted till at the end of October, 2011/2012. The training for the selected candidates will be commenced on the month of July, 2012.

Study Plan
The candidates who have a desire to get into the Indian Navy as a Pilot have to prepare well for the tests they have to attend in the two stages. The first stage tests include Intelligence test which is mainly for evaluating the intelligent skills of the candidates. Then there is a picture perception test helps to analyze how he perceives various things and a group discussion test. The candidate has to prepare well for attending this first stage test. There are various coaching centers are available for helping the students. Study well with the help of these services and with your own effort. Then only you can attend the second stage test. The various interview tips and psychological tests in the text books and internet helps you to perform well in the second stage.
For passing the PABT, a systematic training is required for the candidate .Then only he can be selected. Properly maintained physical and mental health is necessary. The body should be maintained by exercise, proper food etc. Then only the candidate can pass the medical test.
How and Where To Get the Results?
The results of the tests will be available in the official website www. nausena-bharti.nic.in .The result of the first stage exam will be announced on the same day itself. All other test results will be published in the net. The candidates have to check it for more information.
Score Validity
A score card is provided for the selected candidates. The candidates who pass the PABT Test and medical test are eligible for the score card. The candidates are appointed on the basis of the score and the available vacancy. The score card is valid until the next exam notification is published for the same post.
