KAIET MBBS Entrance Test 2012
KAIET MBBS Entrance Test is carried out by Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences. After becoming a university in 2005, several colleges have now come up under this Institute.
It has attained recognition from Medical Council of India and Malaysian Medical Council. This is the entrance test for undergraduate course for the degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Students who have a passion to serve in medical field, this test will provide an entry to this institution.
Structure of KAIET MBBS Test
The questions asked in the examination will be of objective type. Candidates need to select from four choices and need to mark their option on OMR sheet. Overall 200 questions with 50 for Physics, Chemistry and 100 for Biology are there for test. Correct answers are awarded one mark and there is no negative marking. It is considered a wrong answer if there is scratching, ticking or choosing more than one options. The maximum time allotted is 3 hours.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are more than seventeen years of age are not eligible
Candidates who have qualified plus two or any equivalent exam including PCB and English with at least 50% are eligible.
Candidates appearing plus two or any equivalent exam are eligible when they meet the norms specified while counseling.
How to Apply?
Applicants may collect application form with information brochure from the university on paying Rs.500 or by post or courier, by making a payment through DD of Rs.600. If they prefer by post DD should be taken in favour of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University. It should be a payable one at Karad. Filled applications can be personally submitted to university. It can also be submitted by registered post with an envelope addressing to applicant itself and identity card with receipt. In both the cases a DD of Rs.1000 need to be taken. Hardcopy of online application should be sent with DD taken in the name of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University of Rs.1500.Online application available at website www.kimsuniversity.in. How to fill the Form?
Online filling of applications can be done with the instructions given in the website. Downloaded form should include the recent colour photograph of Applicant. Left thumb impression is also needed. It should also accompany with the signature of applicant and parent or guardian. Forms should not be presented without completion. Applications presented offline should also have a photograph. Applicants personally should fill the applications with a black ball-point pen.

Study Plan
Collect all the possible study materials and determine a time and place to study. Smaller sections need to be identified from the large course material. It should be determined earlier how much time is needed for each section. This time should be according to the acquaintance in each section. Make sure the place for study is not tedious and noisy. Environment of studying also add their part in studying. Try to study different topics in one day as it avoid the boredom occurred by repetition. Self assessment test can improve the ability to approach the exam. Leisure time should be included while scheduling the time for studying.
How and Where To Get the Results?
Results will be published on the site www.kimsuniversity.in. Applicants who expect results can login the site with their Application ID and DOB. They can verify it and confirm whether they have got admission or not.
Score Validity
After appearing the examination a score is obtained. With that score, candidates can proceed for admission. Scores are valid for twelve months. Candidates will not be eligible for admission if they possess a score less than what is required for eligibility.
