L&T Build India Scholarship
The L & T Built India Scholarship was initiated in the field of technology and engineering by Larsen & Toubro. This scholarship is given to meritorious aspirants who are interested in obtaining an M.Tech degree in Construction Technology & Management from either IIT Madras or IIT Delhi.
L&T Build India Scholarship Amount
Students who are qualified for the scholarship will be given Rs.7, 000 a month for the duration of the entire course. The ECC will sponsor this scholarship.
Build India Scholarship Eligibility
- Candidates who are applying for the L & T ‘Build India Scholarships’ must be B.Tech graduates
- Candidates must have scored atleast 65 percent in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an institute or university of repute
- Candidates who are applying for this scholarship are supposed to be not above 23 years of age
- In addition to this, they should have a height of minimum 160 centimeters. They should also not be above 50 kilos.
- In case the candidates are wearing glasses, the power of their lenses should not be more than plus minus 5.0 diopters.
Candidates who clear the written test will also have to appear a personal interview with the board of members.
Examination pattern of Build India Scholarship
The exam paper will consist of two papers. One is the technical paper and the other is the aptitude paper. The technical paper will include 100 questions. The students will have a time period of 2 hours. The syllabus of the exam will be similar to that of the GATE exam. The aptitude paper will comprise of 100 questions. The students will be provided with an hour to write the exam. This paper will include questions on general mathematics and verbal reasoning.

There are no particular state quotas available for students.

Candidates who wish to apply for this exam can apply online via the formal website of the Build-India Scholarship. The candidates must send the application within 10 days of its announcement in the newspaper. The candidates also have an option to apply for the exam by post; they must send a letter of request to the address given below. The candidates must note to affix all relevant documents alongside the application when submitting an application. The application should contain complete and full information about the applicant.
