IT stands for Information technology. This is a subject that is related to computers, and especially the software of the computers. This subject basically deals with the development and modifications in software field. Under the course of M.Sc in IT one has to study the various languages (Computer programming Languages) in which the software can be designed and the methods in which the programs can be used. The subject is very much practice oriented and the candidates need to practice the languages and other information thoroughly from time to time. Under the course of M.Sc in IT, the course becomes a bit more deep and in depth. This is probably because of the course being of Master Level.

The course has high importance and huge scopes in the blooming Information technology companies. That sin the reason that students are drifting towards this course so rapidly. The demand of this course is increasing day by day. To meet up the high demand, both private and government colleges are offering this course.

The fee structure of this course is differ t for different college d university. Basically it ranges from 4000 per semester to 45000 per semester. Few of the renowned universities that offers this course are University of Delhi, University of Calcutta, Amity University, Dhiru Bhai Ambani INSTITUTE of Information and communication technology, BIT Mesra and many more. The fees of this course in University of Calcutta and university of Delhi are generally 4000 per semester. On the other hand Dhiru Bhai Ambani Institute of Information and communication Technology charges whooping 25000 per semester for this course. BIT Mesra charges Rs 45000 per semester for this course.

Some government colleges also offer scholarship programs to the needy students. There are special relaxations in fees for the poor and backward class students in government colleges. The fees of the government colleges is also very less in comparison to the private institutions.

Since I don’t know how to become a SE after B.Sc IT, will you please tell me how to become a Software engineer after completing B.Sc IT?
