Even though MBA and Integrated MBA are courses in Business Administration, both of them are entirely different in nature. The Master of Business Administration is a Master’s level program that is concerned with the examination of the techniques as well as hypothesis that are involved in the administration of a business. Integrated MBA is a long time course that is about the overall study of a business. The study examines the foundations of a business to the most important tasks that a manager has to perform within the organization.

MBA

MBA is one amongst the most well liked courses amid students. There are many private as well as public sector institutions that offer students with postgraduate courses in business management.   Students can join this program and select their specializations. A few specializations in MBA course comprise of:

  • Finance
  • HR
  • Marketing
  • Systems

Students who wish to join the MBA course will need to appear for an admission test. A few tests for this purpose are MAT, XAT and CAT. Students who finish their studies can find good jobs with leading firms in India or overseas.

Integrated MBA

The main advantage of the integrated MBA course is that it will help students to get more information about:

  • Diverging Trends In Market Scenario
  • Elementary Principles As Well As Hypothesis Of Business
  • Managerial Duties As Well As Principles

Aspiring students can take Engineering or business as optional courses while they are studying the Integrated MBA program. Once they have completed their education, students can get jobs with private and as well as public sector firms.

Key Difference between MBA in Systems Management and MBA

The key differentiators between MBA in Systems Management and MBA are:

  • While graduates of any stream can pursue a course in business management, only intermediates can study the Integrated MBA course.
  • The duration of the integrated MBA program is 5 years, the duration for the MBA course is 2 years.
  • Whilst intermediates can directly go to the postgraduate program by pursuing hr integrates program, graduates will have to learn the MBA course as a separate subject of study.

Which course is better?

Each of these courses has their own uses and importance. Both the courses have their own uses and are meant for two different types of people. Students who have completed their 12th and would like to go for an MBA directly can go for an Integrated MBA course. Only those students who have clarity on this need to go for this course else they can go for any other graduation and then think of an MBA at a later stage.  The students can select a course according to their preference and their future plans.
