Those who have completed first two semesters of B.E or B.Tech course are eligible for B.Tech Lateral entry in International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H). As part of the selection process, candidates need to attend written examination and personnel interview organized by the institute. The selection procedure for B.Tech lateral entry admission in IIIT –H essentially involves 2 stages –

• Written Examination
• Personal Interview

The written examination will be organized by the institute itself. Candidates will be basically tested in subjects studied in B.Tech course level up to second semester. The syllabus of the written examination will differ as per the specialization stream opted by candidates for B.Tech course. Application Procedure for B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission (2013) in IIIT-H

An online application procedure needs to be followed by candidates by logging in to the official website of IIIT-H. It is compulsory for candidates to submit application fees of Rs 1200/- as part of the application procedure. They can remit the application fees in the form of Demand Draft (DD), taken on behalf of IIIT-H (to be payable at Hyderabad). Candidate should ensure whether they have entered correct details in the online application form before submission. Filled in application forms along with Demand Draft (DD) must be send to the address of  The Chairman, Lateral Entry Admissions, IIIT Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad - 500 032 before specified date.
