Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) offers M.Sc degree in a variety of subjects like Agricultural Chemicals, Biochemistry, Seed Science and Technology, Entomology and Plant Pathology. B.Sc holders in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry are eligible to apply for most of the courses. B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E holders in Agriculture can try for admissions to M.Sc in Agricultural Engineering.

Eligible candidate must be a science graduate having obtained the required qualification under 10+2+4/10+2+3/10+1+4 system. Qualification requirements may vary slightly with stream of study.
For M.Sc in Agricultural Economics/ M.Sc in Agricultural Extension
Eligible candidate must have any of the following qualifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
- Bachelor of Science in Dairy Science
- Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science
- Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry
- Bachelor of Science in Fisheries
For M.Sc in Agricultural Engineering
Eligible candidate must have any of the following qualifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering
- Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering
For M.Sc in Agronomy
B.Sc degree holders in Agriculture in any of the recognized Universities can apply.
For M.Sc in Bioinformatics
Eligible candidate must have any of the following qualifications.

For M.Sc in Horticulture

Can a student who pursue bsc forestry go for msc horticulture.
I am a fourth year student doing my Btech in biotechnology. I want to know if i am eligible for the above PG courses holding a degree of btech biotechnology.
