HI
There is no marks restriction for IAS.
Wheather, you score 40% or 90% in class 12 or Bachelor Degree or Master Degree or P.hd that does’nt matters.
Educational eligibility criteria is that candidate must have only passed Graduation in any field from any recognised institute, university of India.
And nothing else.
However, it is fact that priyority will given to candidates with good academic background, but thats a different matter. Becoming IAS officer is directly proportional to Hard work and Talent.
IF anybody have that two qualities then surely he will achieve success.

ELIGIBLITY FOR IAS:

(i) Age limits :

(iv) Fee :

(No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

I m attaching a document in which the some of instructions r given for the IAS and some useful things which u should be known for the test so read this document very precisly

There is no percentage of marks criteria in any level to become an IAS officer.

IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years which the upper age relaxed for SC/ST/PH candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years.

The selection is three tire:-

CSAT- CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST-PRELIMINARY EXAM

CIVIL SERVICE MAIN EXAM

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

So if you are interested for IAS then first complete Graduation Degree and then appear for Civil Service exam.

Check the eligibility criteria to sit for CSAT exam .

Eligibility Criteria -

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution

Age should be between 21 -30 years.

So, you should first complete your graduation and then apply for CSAT exam for IAS.

The minimum educational qualification required for the Civil services examination is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.Final year candidates are also allowed to appear for the examinations.

Being 10+2 student ,you are not eligible for the Civil services examinations. One thing more % of amrks secured in 10+2 doesnot play any role in eligibility for civil services examinations.

First do your graduation then think about the examinations.
