CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Eligibility: To join CBI is candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university.

Age Criteria: Minimum 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

How to become a CBI Officer

To apply for the CBI you have to apply for the SSC combined graduate preliminary examination. This examination is conducted by the SSC every year.
The eligibility criteria required for the CBI is mentioned below.

Education Qualification
To apply for the post of CBI a candidate should be Graduate in any discipline
from a recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the
SSC combined graduate preliminary examination.

Age limit
For the post of CBI a candidate age should be between 18 to 27 years.

cbi, they requir good n strong mathmatics. so take math as a main subject in ur graduation.perhaps it is must to be math as main subject in ur grad. u should also do practise for verbal n non qualify in th upsc exam and get a posting in police services out of which the cbi comes on the 3rd promotion but yea remember for cbi atleast 2 years of milatary training is also required so people aspiring

To become a CBI you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission that is conducted by Government of India and it has 4 stages and you need to clear each of these or will be eliminated. Apart from that there are some physical requirements that you need to fulfill like the height must be minimum 165 cm and chest 76 cms

for the CBI you have to apply for the SSC combined graduate preliminary examination. This examination is conducted by the SSC every year.

For CBI you need to be satisfied with below criteria.

Central bureau of Investigation i.e CBI is Government undertaking best Inquiring Agencies in India.

Joining into CBI is through CGPE i.e Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam which is Conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Board) Every Year.

This Exam is held Once a year which is in the Month of February.

Requirements for Joining CBI or Eligibility Critiera :-
Eligibility

Educational Qualification :-

You must be Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI.

For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed.

Syllabus: The syllabus for a course in Criminology usually includes - Principles of Criminology, Psychology of Crime, Criminal Law, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc.

You age must be lie in between 18 to 27 years For Inspectors or CE and Div. Acctts or Auditors or UDCs,20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI and 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs

Pattern Of the Exam consists of Part I and Part II

In part I it consist of Paper I and Paper II which is of 400 Marks Total.General Test is 200 marks and English Language is of 200 Marks.

In Part II it consists of Interview which is of 100 Marks Total.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

You must be passed graduation from any recognized universities.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years

For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years

For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates

Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :-
1) Age :-
Your's age must lie between :-
(a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
(b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc.,
(c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination.

To become CBI officer, you will have to appear for Combined Graduate Level Examination, conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The exam is conducted to recruit indivuduals for the post of Sub-inspector in CBI.
