Qualifications needed for IES(Indian Engineering Services).
1.A Graduate Engineer or final year candidate from Civil,Mechanical,Electronics&Communication,Electri cal engineer can write this exam. 2.This is the one part of Civil Services and conducyted by UPSC every year. 3.Age: General: 21-32 years, OBC: 21-35 years, S/C S/T: 21-37 years. 4.Attempts: General: 6 times, OBC: 8 times S/C S/T: Unlimited. To get selection candidate to clear:- 1.CSAT. 2.Mains Exam. 3.Interview. |

As you want to know about the Qualification required for IES Exam.. Indian Engineering Service(IES) is conducted by UPSC. Following are the minimum qulification for IES exam: ---must have Graduation degree in Engineering from Mechanical/ Civil/ Electronics/ Electrical from a recognized universities... --- must be not be greater than 30 years of age for general category... age relaxation is given to SC, ST and OBC candidate..
