I belong to obc community and I will become 33 years old in next November, 2018. Can I sit for Apsc exam this year?

Eligibility conditions to apply for Assam Public Service Commission :

Candidate must have passed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognised university.

BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BE/B.Tech/BBA/BCA or equivalent degree holders may apply.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years.

Upper age relaxation to candidates will be provided as per government rules which is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

As you have mentioned that you belong to OBC category then you will be eligible to apply for this recruitment upto 33 years of age as per relaxation criteria.

I would suggest you not to think much if your age is under 33 years then you may apply for this examination and one more thing is that you should start preparation after applying for this recruitment because this is public service commission examination which takes a lot of study to get selected.

You must find a very good coaching center in your area and collect complete study material and practice papers and study about 8 hours a day in 24 hours and if you do so with your heart and energy without gap then you may be selected for this job but study should be commanded as per demand.
