sir I have got 52% marks in aggregate at 10+2 , 46%(pcm) & 44% in English ...am I eligible to join merchant navy .

Merchant Navy can be joined after 10th as sea farer and after 12th as an Officer through various degree or diploma courses in two fields, Nautical and Marine Engineering.

Age limit 16-25 years.

Eye Sight 6/6 without glasses, No Colour blindness
Unmarried Male and female candidates can join.

Courses after 12th
HND Nautical Science
HND Marine Engineering
B.E. Marine Engineering
BSc Degree in Nautical Science

Yes, you are eligible for Merchant Navy exam because you have completed 12th standard with PCM.

Those candidates who have passed your 12th or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from central/state board or recognized school are eligible for Merchant Navy exam.

Your age should be below 20 years.

Physical criteria for Merchant Navy exam:-

• Eye Sight = 6/6
• Height = 167 cms
• Weight = 50 Kg
• Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)
