Married Women are not considered eligible to join Indian Army, irrespective of their age and academic qualification.
Unmarried women may join Indian Army in the following branches of Indian Army:
  • Technical Branch
  • Non-Technical Branch
  • Judge Advocate General

Women candidates are considered only for Shot Service Commission and depending upon the department, the eligibility criteria varies.
For further information, refer to the official website of Indian Army.
