For Aeronautical engineering,you have to be in top 50 in any entrance exam to get good government institutes.As cutoff varies every year on the basis of level of question paper and highest marks secured,you have to get above 85% of the total marks of the entrance exam you are appearing to get into Good Government Institutes like IIT,IIST,top NITs because aeronautical engineering in private colleges is not very good.
