Exam for Captain's post in Navy after Mechanical engineering from LPU?
i am doing mechanical engineering from lovely professional university after that i wanna go in indian navy is their any exam in which direct captain post is awarded to student?

Captain is an officers rank in Navy. To get a officer's rank you need to appear for CDS [Combined Defense Services] examination conducted by UPSC and pot for Navy wing of armed forces after selection.

Hello........ To join navy in officer cadre you will need to write CDS(combined defence services) either in your final year or after that.But don't be too optimistic.Little drops of water make a mighty ocean.So after getting selected you'll start from sub-leiutant and then gradually get promoted in 7-8 years to captain.
