IAS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :-

Academic Qualification:
Graduation course from any recognised university.

Age Limit:
21-31 years (3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST)

Number of permissible attempts:
4 attempts (7 attempts for OBC and unlimited for SC/St)

So you are not eligible now.

after completion of your graduation degree you are eligible for IAS exam.

Hello, young friends, good to see you all interested to join IPS. But you are now not eligible, or i would say too young. you have to first pass your graduation then only you are eligible to apply for IPS. you have to clear the prelim and mains paper of civil services to become an IPS.
Any graduate can apply.
There is no problem for a person with specs.

So be patient, complete your graduation first.

Your decision to become an IPS officer is indeed commendable. Yes definitely you can join for IPS after you 12th standard in commerce. The minimum qualification to apply for IPS exam is a graduation in a discipline. So after your +2, you can join any of your favorite courses for graduation and then apply for IPS. yes you can give ias exam but only if you are having the eligibility qualifications required for the exam.
for giving ias exam, the student must have done graduation in any field with at least 60% marks. the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years which can increase to 35 years for sc/st students.
if you are having these qualifications, then only you can give the exam.
there will be three rounds in the exam. firstly, you will have to give the preliminary exam. this exam will be of objective questions.
after qualifying in that exam, you will have to give the main exam, which will be in written form.
after passing both the exams, you will be called for the personal interview.
after passing that interview, you will become an ias officer.
the notification regarding the exam comes in the employment news.

for ips you have to done your graducation degree, this is very compulsary .
ips exam criteria----
graducation from a recoganised university
age criteria 21 to 30 years
after this you are eligible for exam.

yes. you ca become an IPS officer after doing 12th from commerce, if you can do graduation courses after 12th commerce.

the eligibility criteria for IPS exam is given below

IPS stands for Indian Police Service and it is one of the Indian Civil service exam.IPS is one of the UPSC exam.

No,you cannot apply for the IPS exam,after doing +2 you cannot apply for the IPS as far regarding the education qualification for IPS exam.

Refer the below criteria's and check whether you are eligible for the exam as you need to satisfy all of the criteria's.

Eligibility for IPS Exam:

Candidate who want to apply for the exam must have a citizenship in India.

Candidate of General category must have a age limit of 21-30 years.

There are certain upper age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Candidates must have done their graduation from recognized university with a fair percentage.

Candidate writing their final degree exam can also apply.

You need to have a degree but since you have only finished +2 ,it is better you apply for the exam after completing degree.
