I would like to join Indian Military.
I am a B.Tech Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, completed my Graduation on 2008 and working as a Sales Engineer in Saudi Arabia.
So, kindly provide me the details regarding how to apply for the same
and also give the details regarding any Center is available in Saudi Arabia for attending the exams.

There are so many exams to join army after b tech such as Combined Defence Service , UPSC , Coast Guard , etc.
You can apply for the respective exams and give the test . After qualification you will be called for interview.

The eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Army is as follows:-

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60%.

2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

3.) Age limitation is between 16.5-19.5 years.

4.) Minimum height-157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

5.) No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight.

So , if you fall in this category , then you can apply for it.

One can join army if he is working with paramilitry forces.........there is any age relaxation..

HI,
After graduation you have to qualify the C.D.S exam inf you want to join Indian Defence..
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year...

For this your age should be in between 19-24 year..
There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam


IMPORTANT DATES FOR C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2012
Date of Notification:-02.06.2012
Last date of receipt of form:-02.07.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-16.09.2012(SUNDAY)
