since you are student of science you can take botany and any other subject of science which are related to agriculture or forestry.
but one thing to be kept in mind that the success rate is very less with these subjects and generally students opt for subjects like public administration, philosphy, sociology, language as these are easy to cover.
So you can take decsion according to your own interest. As est performance comes only through selecting those sujects in which you are comfortale.

friend as you are from science group, you better choose subject related to you field to secure good marks then other i.e Botany, agriculture, Zoology etc.

yes friend..

you are from MBA field, so it's best if you go for management subject to obtain good result...

but according to me i feel management along with commerce/economics/political science will be the best
option for you .

As you have mentioned that you have done MBA and now you want to appear in the civil services examination for the IAS post then the best subject with management will be either of the following for you :

*Economics

* Commerce

* Political Science

Out of these three , i opine that you should go with Economics because it will suit you the best.

But finally it depends totally on you that in which one of these subjects you have the most interest and have sound knowledge.
