In order to write the National Eligibility Test, you should have a post graduation degree. Master of Business Administration should do it. If you completed the degree from recognized college then there should be no issue.
National Eligibility Test is for college lectureship and JRF. While there is no upper age limit for lectureship, you should apply for JRF before turning 28 years. If interested then you can start preparing for the NET exam to be held in December. However if you think there isn't enough time to prepare for this one, then skip the December exam and appear for the June 2014 exam. You can appear for both exams as well. There is no criteria on number of attempts. Please go through the requirements for NET exam that are mentioned below to see whether you are eligible for the exam or not. UGC NET Eligibility 1. Nationality: It should be Indian. 2. Education: Minimum of post graduation. 3. Marks: No less than 55 percent required. 4. Relaxation: No relaxation is offered to OBC. 5. Relaxation: 5% for SC and ST. 6. Final year students can also appear for NET. 7. But they will have to submit degree/mark sheet in 2 years. 8. Subject: Will depend on your post graduation course. 9.
