Sir,plz can you tell wht are the academics qualification for writing net,as i completed mba hr.

Hello friend,
To write National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC, you must hold a masters degree of a recognized university.
If you belong to SC/ST category, you are eligible for the test with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying exam whereas, if you belong to general category, you must have scored a minimum of 55% in the qualifying exam.
Since you have done MBA, you are eligible to apply for "Management".

some of the basic requirements for net exam is as follows..

1.. your age limit is not more then 28..

2.. you get relaxation up to 5 years if you belong to ST,SC,OBC,PH,VH

3.. EVEN RELAXATION WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE PERSON HAVING RESEARCH EXPERIENCE...

4.. the person must have 55% marks in masters degree or equivalent examination from universities of recognized bY UGC..

5..for those who belong to ST,SC,PH,VH should have scored 50%..

6.. those who have ph.d degree are eligible for appearin in net..

Yes Off Course your eligible for NET Examination After Completing your MBA Course .. The Minimum Educational Qualification to apply for NET Examination is that the candidate should Complete Master degree course from recognized University .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.Net exam is conducted by UGC.This exam will be conducted for the JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and also for Eligibility to Lectureship.

Eligibility Criteria:


Candidate should have a citizen of India

Candidate should complete graduation from any recognized university.

Candidate should be secure minimum 55% of marks in their post graduation.(5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

Age limit:

There is no upper age limit for the candidate Lectureship.

But to JRF candidates age limit between 19 to 28 years.Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to SC/ST and OBC Candidates.

In order to write the National Eligibility Test, you should have a post graduation degree. Master of Business Administration should do it. If you completed the degree from recognized college then there should be no issue.

National Eligibility Test is for college lectureship and JRF. While there is no upper age limit for lectureship, you should apply for JRF before turning 28 years.

If interested then you can start preparing for the NET exam to be held in December. However if you think there isn't enough time to prepare for this one, then skip the December exam and appear for the June 2014 exam.

You can appear for both exams as well. There is no criteria on number of attempts. Please go through the requirements for NET exam that are mentioned below to see whether you are eligible for the exam or not.


UGC NET Eligibility

1. Nationality: It should be Indian.

2. Education: Minimum of post graduation.

3. Marks: No less than 55 percent required.

4. Relaxation: No relaxation is offered to OBC.

5. Relaxation: 5% for SC and ST.

6. Final year students can also appear for NET.

7. But they will have to submit degree/mark sheet in 2 years.

8. Subject: Will depend on your post graduation course.

9. Age Limit: 28 years is the limit for JRF.

10. Relaxation: 3 years for OBC.

11. Relaxation: 5 years for SC and ST.

12. Age Limit: Lower age limit is 19 years for Lectureship while no upper age limit.

yes, as you ahve completed your post graduation you are drfinitely eligible for net,

net exams are conducted by university grant commission in months of June and December

net exam is conducted for

1. lectureship

2.junior research fellowship

NET is a National Eligibility test
The minimum Qualification for NET Entrance exam is:
You have to secure at least 55% marks without rounding off in Master's Degree or its equivalent exam from recognised university.For SC/ST,PH,VH can have 50% of marks.

You should not be more than 28 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH is 5 years.

Exam Fee:
For general candidates fees will be 450/- and for OBC its 225/- and for SC/ST/PH/VH it is 110/-

The exam will be held on 24th-dec-2011

The test will have three papers

Paper I:It is designed to test the your ability in the following subjects and it is a 100 marks test.
