What is the eligibility for Bank PO job?
Dear Sir,
I am a back ground of arts student.Now I want to do a carrier in banking sector.So give me an idea about the eligibility criteria for a bank PO job. Regards Pramod |

P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is basically conducted by State Bank of India and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).

ELIGIBILITY FOR BANK PO:
Candidate should complete the Bachelor degree from any recognized university. The final year students are also eligible for this exam. The candidate required any kind of stream should eligible. The candidate no need the percentage to eligible this exam. The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Relaxation is applicable for other categories. ALL THE BEST. |

Yeah arts students also eligible for Bank PO(Probationary Officer). Any stream candidates are eligible for Bank PO exam. Bank PO exams are conducted two types one is SBI PO and second one is IBPS PO exams. The eligibility criteria and other details are given below: Eligibility criteria for Bank PO:- The candidate should be complete Graduation from a recognised university. OR The candidate should be complete 12th standard with atleast 60% of marks from a recognised board. Some banks asks 50% of marks in graduation. The candidate should be a citizen of india. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21years to 30years, 3years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- ##Written test, ##Personal interview. Syllabus for Written test:- -->General english, -->General awareness, -->Computer knowledge, -->Reasoning, -->Quantitative aptitude. All the best. |

The Bank PO Exams are Generally conducted by the two Organizations namely : * SBI conducts its own exam * IBPS Conducts the exam for 17 public sector Banks. The Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO Exam are : * You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. * You must have a minimum of 55% marks in graduation (For IBPS) and 60% marks (FOR SBI). * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * Relaxation in age is also for reserved category candidates as per govt. rules. 10th - 48% (Pass, but there is a compartment in Social Studies) Year 2005 10 2 - 45% Year 2007 (after that I have one year gap before B.Com) B.Com - 50% Year & I dont have any quota Am I eligible for Bank PO or IBPS |

Eligible criteria : 1.The candidate should be belongs to India. 2.The candidate should completed the graduation from any recognized university. 3.The age limit is in between 21 to 30 years.
