Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year.

Educational Qualification Required:

For Indian Military Academy: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent is required

For Air Force Academy: B.Sc with Physics and/ Or Mathematics Or Bachelor of Engineering is required

For Officer Training Academy: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent is required

For Naval Academy: B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering is required

Age Criteria:

For Indian Military Academy:- 19 to 24 years

For Officer's Training Academy:- 19 to 25 years

For Naval Academy:- 19 to 22 years

For Air Force Academy:- 19 to 23 years

Document required:-

Age proof certificate.

Graduation certificates and mark sheets.

Pan card, driving license, passport or the UPSC admit card.

In case a candidate is a final year student he will be required to get a certificate from the principal.

CDS (combined defence services) is a exam including ssb conducted by the UPSC (union public service commission).
Age limits for CDS is 19-23 years and age relaxation is according to govt. Of india.
For CDS you should passed graduation from a recognized university with 50% marks.
Documents required is
10th marksheet for DOB verification.
12th and graduation marksheets.
And reservation certificate if any.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam are as under:-

- Nationality : Indian.

- Academic Qualification:

Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy-Graduation in any discipline.

Indian Naval Academy-Bachelor of Engineering.

Indian Air Force Academy-10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.

-Age limit:

Indian Military Academy- 19 years to 24 years

Indian Naval Academy-19 years to 22 years

Indian Air Force Academy-19 years to 23 years

Officer's Training Academy-19 years to 25 years

-Selection Procedure:

*Written Exam

*Interview by Services Selection Board (SSB).

There is no need to submit any kind of certificates to the head office before the written examination. One has to carry the required certificates with them when they get selected for the SSB interview.

Documents required for UPSC CDS examination :-

1. Matric / Higher Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent showing date of birth.

2. Degree / Provisional degree certificate / marks sheet showing clearly having passed degree examination and eligible for award of degree.

Candidate needs to carry these certificates with them while going to the Services Selection Centres for UPSC SSB interview. Candidates who have not yet qualified the final year Degree examination needs to carry with them a certificate in original from the Principal of the College / Institution stating that the candidate has appeared / is appearing at the final year Degree examination.

CDS:- Combined Defence Services.
This exam is conducted by UPSC.

-airforce
-navy

->there is no requirement to submit any document for CDS entrance exam.
->and after crack the exam, then you show your document at the time of interview.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam-
** A candidate must be 12th passed with physics chemistry and mathematics.

** A candidate must be graduated from any discipline or a candidate must have engineering degree.

** A candidate must have minimum 21 years of age and maximum 25 years of age.

You will require following documents-
** High school certificate.
** Certificate of class 12th.
** Graduation degree.
