Re: Is it possible to start IPS career while doing the graduation course?
UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam (CSE) exam every year for the recruitment of IAS, IPS officer and various other posts. You can start your career in IPS through this exam which is best one.
>>Basically you cannot start your IPS career before completing the graduation degree as the minimum eligibility for giving the exam is student must possess a graduation degree. >>So you have to complete your graduation degree firstly then apply for UPSC exam. In the meanwhile you can start your preparation for the competitive exam for IPS career. For this you have to **concentrate more on General Studies **join any coaching institute for better preparation **join test series to evaluate your preparation |

>>You must have completed your bachelor's degree or pursuing final year of bachelor's degree to apply for the exam. While doing, you can not join the Civil Services. In final year, you need to apply for exam and clear stages like Preliminary, mains and interview. >>The age limit for exam is 21-32 years. There is three years age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. From 2015, CSAT is of qualifying nature and candidate only needs to score 33% marks in this to qualify. Re: Is it possible to start IPS career while doing the graduation course?
No it is not possible to start IPS Career while doing graduation course. And one more thing you must complete graduation before get into that career. It is a restriction for it. More over you should qualify in civil services and get a good rank among all competitors for that.
So first thing you just complete graduation and then think about civil services. Then based on your performance in the civil services you will be shortlisted for type of post based on rank. |
