Eligibility to appear for GATE while doing M.Sc Maths 3rd semester and after scoring 54% marks in first year?
Hlo sir/madam, I am Navdeep. I am doing M.Sc Maths 3rd Semester. I got 54 % marks in Ist year. I want to appear for GATE but not sure about the eligibility. Am I eligible for GATE. please reply...

For GATE you need 60% marks in B.Tech or M.Sc degree. There is relaxation of 5% marks if you belong to reserved category. Hence, with 54% marks you can't appear for GATE.
Just make sure that your overall percentage in M.Sc degree is above 60% marks then only you will be eligible for it. There is no other way of appearing in this exam. |
