Sir, I want to join NDA, I would like to know its eligibility criteria. I am preparing for my Board exam. I am studying in 10th WBBSE. So, it will be very grateful of you if you share the details of NDA entrance with me. Also I want to know about the age limit for apply.

Detailed Information like Eligibility Criteria and Age Criteria to apply for NDA Exam:

Basically there is a certain educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in NDA Recruitment.

>> The basic educational qualification required is "12th Class" in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university.

>> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this NDA/NA Examination.

>> There are several wings available in NDA and they are as follows.
* For Air Force and For Indian Navy wing :- 12th Class pass with Physics and Mathematics subjects required
* For Army Wing :- 12th Class in 10+2 pattern is required

>> The minimum age required is 16.5 years and maximum age must not exceed 19 years. There is no age relaxation for reserved category candidates. You must be physically fit and must be an Indian citizen in order to be eligible.

NDA is National Defence Service and it is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is conducted for recruitment in defence service.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates are eligible to appear for examination. The examination is conducted in written and SSB. Candidates have to qualify for both stages for final selection.

Candidates must have completed their class 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Candidates age must be in between 16.5 to 18.5 years.
Candidates must be physically fit as per the UPSC norms.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and same is a defense academy meant for providing training and education to those who manages to qualify NDA entrance examination with an ambition to become a defense officer.

NDA entrance examination is held twice every year by UPSC in two stages which includes Written test followed by SSB interview.
