The course is all about the study of the prehistoric times, the evaluation and existence of the same and the environmental and ecological aspects of that time. The candidate is promised with diversified job profiles in the same sector. The ancient life forms, their analysis and reconstruction, geological processes, the fossil chemistry, evolutionary biology, fossilization and sedimentation processes, the conservation methods and a lot more in the series are the prime concerns to be acknowledged to the candidates.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criterion requires the candidates to be equipped with a bachelor level degree in palaeontology.  However, there are few special requirements for the candidates as per the diversified norms of the different institutes, which offer the course. A sound knowledge of sedimentation, petrology and ecology, is required in the candidates.

Course Outlook:

The course calls for duration of two years, which includes the submissions of the project works and the research papers by the students.
