The Indian Navy was established as the naval branch of the armed forces in the country. The ‘Navy Day’ is celebrated on 4th December every year. The prime objective of this branch is to secure the maritime borders of the country and also to enhance international relations.
Job Profile:
Application sare invited from unmarried male indian citizens for the posts of Permanent Commission Officer in Law Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for the course of January 2011 at Indian Naval Acaqdemy, Kerala.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be in between the 22 to 27 years of age. Candidates should be born between 2 January 1984 to 1 January 1989 (both dates are inclusive). Candidates also need to have a minimum height of 157 cms with correlated weight and should have acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses.
Educational Qualification:
A Degree in Law with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the posts of Permanent Commissioned Officer.
No. of posts: Several posts are availbale.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed salary as per their posts.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be called for Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews depending on their performance in law degree. The interview will be held on Aug to Nov 2010 at Bangalore/Bhopal or Coimbatore.
