CPCB invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellows for one of its projects and the details of the notification issued by the board are given below:

Name of the position: Senior Research Fellows

Number of Vacancies: 31

Project detail: The project for which Senior Research Fellows are called for involves surveillance and assessment on Ganga River Basin and Pollution Inventorisation.

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Senior Research Fellows will be getting a pay scale Rs. 14000+HRA and medical benefits as per the rules of the board.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Master of Science in microbiology/biosciences/life sciences/zoology/botany/chemistry/applied chemistry or Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in public health engineering/environmental engineering.

Age requirement: The age requirement is that candidates must not be more than 28 years of age.

Experience: To apply for the position of Senior Research Fellow, candidates must have two years experience in any of the fields like Environmental Sciences/ Water Pollution Control/ Design of Waste Water Treatment Plants/ River Water Quality Monitoring, Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plants, Analysis of Sewage and Industrial samples for physico-chemical and Bacteriological parameters/ assessment of industrial pollution and its control.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow in Central Pollution Control Board can be made either through written test and interview or interview alone according to the decision of the board.
