Admission Procedure
For getting admission to Doctor of Medicine course in India, one should possess MBBS degree. Also, they have to qualify entrance test like All India PG Medical Entrance Examination. Those who possess B.Sc degree in relevant stream can pursue M.Sc in Pathology course. Admission to this postgraduate course in Pathology will be based on the marks of either the qualifying examination or the score in the entrance test.
Candidates can apply for doctoral level courses, if they possess adequate score in concerned post graduation examination and entrance test. Graduates in relevant discipline can join Post Graduate Diploma course while postgraduates in relevant stream can join Post M.D. Certificate course.
To pursue an undergraduate course in Pathology abroad, one should require minimum of 70% aggregate in higher secondary examination. Aspirants can forward their application through the website of the concerned foreign University along with the specified documents. To join Masters or doctoral level course, one should require reference letters from the faculty of their college. Also, they have to obtain minimum of 70% marks in the qualifying examination specified by the University. Those who want to join foreign universities should obtain a good score in English Proficiency tests like Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
