Can I get additional benefits in an Education Loan for B.B.A.LLB course being a General category girl?


Hi,
I am Sweety and I belong to General category female candidate. I want to apply and get an Education Loan from any Bank to study B.B.A.LLB. Can I get any additional benefits as I am a girl? I want to know about the additional benefits which I can get under Education Loan scheme?

There is only one additional benefits that is available to girls in case of Education loan. The interest charged on education loan for girls is 0.5% less than interest rate charged for candidates belonging to male category.

This is the only benefit that you can avail being a female candidate in case of education loan.

Yes, you can get additional benefit on education loan since you are a girl. Most of the banks give the below additional benefit in the rate of interest of education loan.

- Concession of 0.5% in rate of interest from the prevailing rate of interest

- Concession of 1% in rate of interest from the prevailing rate of interest
