TCS and CTS both are good in software industry,but TCS has a good reputation in market and also salary level is higher than CTS,where as CTS is a average class company,many common students can get a chance in CTS,and has a job secutity is more than TCS

For me as i got placed as a fresher in cts. I consulted many friends and surfed the internet i got the following information
1.cts is far better than tcs for fresher
2.it provide a great package then any software company
3.job security is there in cts and even in recession no hiking of jobs are there.even they have hired many in those recession times
4.even they are providing higher education for doing MBA or MTECH with free of cost.
I see no company with these great opportunities then this company

hi...tcs is indian based MNc.....where as Cognizant is USbased MNc......no comparision actually.....TCS is best company i india as well as Asia....

The Global ranking is CAPGEMINI - 8TH.
infosys - 32 nd.
TCS-33rd
Cognizant-43rd.

Capgemini has already acquired 44 companies. 45 th is indian co.-THESYS TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. in Nov. 2010.

So YOU can yourself decide, which is best.

but they are given an opportunity to relocate to CHENNAI or PUNE......

i dont know much about these places...

I think both the companies are equally good.But still TCS will provide more job security as well as healthy salary.By the way you should stick with that company which you provide you more benefit after all it's all about your career.hope you'll make a right decision.

hai everyone..i got selected for CTS in off campus drive..
compare to other companies cts will give 14weeks of entry level trainning and another 8 months dovetail training..!!!!
my doubt is 1 complete year training is necessary? and in this period ll get any chance of doing any live projects?
shall i go for this company? or what?
and what abu bond ?
pls any one suggest me..

CTS is better than cognizant cts is strong many domains,many platforms such as .NET,Dataware house,java,testing.etc.TCS fully work on a specific background full of telugu people domination.Whereas in CTS i dont find like that so.

Tcs is better tha cts in all aspects. As a fresher, I joined TCS. All the senior employyes are considering me as a collegue. Training period is very simple. You dont have to spend extra time on your projects. Enough time will be provided by TCS. So I prefer TCS over Cognizant.

All these people have given their views but as i am a fresher so i can say that cts is the best...better than tcs and wipro.you have good training,good team members,...in tcs you might sit in the bench.you may get call letter after a very long gap.But in cts management is very good.Their learinng factor comes and you will get good exposure to the learning.
