And i think your Age also falls in between these limits. If Not then there is a relaxation To OBC and SC/ST category 3 years Relaxations for OBC and 5 years Relaxation For SC/ST. Best wishes. To become Indian Administrative Officer You need crack CSAT exam i.e Civil Services Exam. Eligibility Criteria For writing is any Graduate with any Discipline and Age must be in between 21 to 30 years as on 01 August 2011 You are 1980 born guy , and you will going to complete 31 years Of age in this June.You are not Eligible For writing Civil Service Exam Because your Age will Exceed the Criteria Limit. For IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
The selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview The required eligibility criteria will be as follows Academic Qualification: -One should have completed Graduation from a recognized university with any of the stream Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam -Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of OBC, SC/ST. By the time you appear for CSAT Exam, be strong enough in Aptitude, General Awarness and English so that it will be easy for you to crack CSAT Exam. |

Dear friend for apply IAS officer exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
IAS stand for Indian Administrative Services. Indian Administrative Services exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam. Eligibility criteria for IAS exam is:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Number of Attempts:- General category candidates - 4 time OBC category Candidates - 7 time SC/ST category candidates - No limit. Selection procedure :- - Preliminary entrance exam - Main entrance exam - Interview - Physical and medical test All the best...... |

IAS(Indian Administrative services)entrance examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
Minimum qualifications required to become an IAS Officer:- 1.Any graduate from the recognized University / Institution having minimum pass marks can write IAS entrance examination. 2.Age: General:21-32 years, OBC:21-35 years, S/C S/T: 21-37 years. 3.Attempts:General: 6 attempts, OBC: 9 attempts,S/C S/T: No limit. 4.Nationality: Indian. To get selection candidates have to clear:- 1.Preliminary exam. 2.Ias mains written exam. 3.Interview. |
