Re: What steps should I follow to become a Custom Officer after completing my class 12th? Which course should I pursue?
No, you are not eligible to become a Custom Officer with only 12th qualification. For recruitment as Custom officer candidates have to qualify in Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC.
The minimum eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years. So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to appear for examination. There is no limitation on discipline of bachelor degree to appear for examination. For more information about visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
