Eligibility Requirements for M.Tech/M.E Courses in NITTTR
M.Tech in Engineering Education, M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.E in Construction Technology & Management, etc are some of the master level engineering courses offered at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR). Bachelor’s degree holders in engineering or master degree holders in streams of Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics can apply for M.Tech in Engineering Education. Engineering degree holders in subjects such as Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Engineering can apply for M.Tech in Manufacturing Technology.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Engineering Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology from a recognized University is the basic qualification required. Master’s degree holders in any of the following streams are also eligible.
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
Required qualification must be obtained with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Other than this, candidate should have at least 2 years post qualification experience in research/industry/teaching.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Technology)
Engineering degree holders in any of the following subjects can apply.
- Manufacturing Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
They must hold a minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate. They should have 2 years of post qualification experience as mentioned for M.Tech in engineering education.
Eligibility Criteria for M.E in Construction Technology & Management
Engineering graduates in Civil Engineering can apply for M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks and minimum experience of 2 years.
Eligibility Criteria for M.E in Computer Science and Engineering
Engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks in any of the following streams can apply.
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Information Technology
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Work experience required is same as that for above mentioned engineering streams.
Eligibility Criteria for M.E in Instrumentation and Control
Engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks in any of the following streams can apply.
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation and Control Engineering
Work experience required is same as that for above mentioned engineering streams.
Eligibility Criteria for M.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering
Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent is the basic qualification required. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of work experience.
