Am I eligible to pursue Marine Engineering after completing class 10th?


Respected Sir, I am studying in class 10th and after completing it I want to pursue Marine Engineering so I want to know am I eligible to pursue Marine Engineering after completing class 10th or I need to complete Intermediate first? Please answer as soon as possible.

No, you are not eligible to pursue Marine Engineering course after completion of your 10th standard from a recognized board. To be eligible to get admission for pursuing Marine Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Engineering course from a recognized board. So, being a 10th passed student, you are not eligible to get admission for pursuing Marine Engineering course.

After 10th standard, you can apply for diploma in Marine Engineering.

Those candidates who have passed matriculation/10th with Mathematics, Physical Science & English from Central or State Board recognized by Govt are eligible to get admission in Diploma course.

Your age should be below 21 years.
