I had finished my 12th exam.
My aim is to become IPS officer.

hi..
to become an ips officer you have to be an graduate first and then you have to write the civil services exam,
so first join some graduation course and start preparing for the civil services exam from now on ,
you have to really work hard because the competition is very tough and the people who prepare for this exam are really genius,
i am attaching this years notification of the civil services exam so that you may have an idea about what the exam is all about,
there is an every chance that the pattern of the examination may change by the time you complete your graduation but you will have an complete idea by the seeing the notification

If you aspire to become an IPS officer you need to first complete your graduation. You can choose your specialisation based on your interest. There is no restrictions on the same. In the mean time you can start preparing for this test. Understand the areas required and prepare accordingly. Do update yourself in the General Awareness section.

i am an avearage student but have strong determination for ips exams so is it very necessary to be a scholar ???

To become IPS officer you need to give UPSC exams.
You must have Graduation degree from a recognized university & your age should be 21 to 30.
So complete your graduation degree first.

IPS Exam Eligibility:-

The basic eligibility requirement to appear in the IPS exam is to have a graduation degree. The candidate can be from any discipline of study. The age limit for IPS must be above 21 years of age while appearing the preliminary exam. And must not be more than 30 years. The candidates who are in the final year can also appear in the IPS exam. As to get selected into the IPS a candidate must qualify two criteria. At first the candidate must be pass the IPS Civil service Exam. After this candidates must also pass in the physical test and also the interview.

limit for SCs/STs.

Sorry to say but you cannot join the IPS directly after class 12th.
The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate in any field from any recognized university of India.
Age limitation is between 21-30 years with 5 years relaxation for the SC/ST and 3 years for the OBC.
General categories get 4 , OBC get 7 , SC/ST has unlimited number of attempts to clear the exam.
You need to first clear the CSAT before appearing for the mains.
General awareness is very important in this.

the eligibility for the IAS exam is that one has to be a minimum of the graduate from any of the recognised university or the colleges
and the age limit is 21years to 30 years for the general and for the OBC,SC,ST there is upper age relaxation upto 3 for OBC and 5 years for the SC and ST

General category:

Female 150 cm Female general & ST ,SC/ OBC- 145 cm

Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Exam Date : Generally in 1st week of May & Mains in 2nd week of Oct

How to become IPS officer after 12th ?

After completing 12th std you can not apply for the IPS exam. Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is conducted by UPSC in every year. To appear in the IPS exam you need the following eligibility criteria.

hello.... as you want to become an IPS officer, you have to be graduate degree holder. First do getting that. I am suggesting you to choose your degree group related to the UPSC syllabus so that you will get more stuff on that subject and it will help you somewhat in achieving your goal. you need to clear UPSC exam
t is a common exam for getting into the IAS, IPS etc. To succeed in the “Civil Services Examination” you first need to understand how the examination is conducted or the “examination format”!
followed by aptitude test and interview

after the 12th exam you have to complete your graduation in the recognized indian university.

the candidates between 21 years to 30 years and along with the completion of the graduation is the eligibility criteria for appearing in the ips exam

ips exam is consist of three main steps
1) preliminary exam
2) main exam
3) interview

dear friend you have to first secure in the preliminary exam to get appear for the main exam and if you cracks the main exam then you will be called for an interview.

criteria are as follows.

The thing is that you should have finished your degree with good percentage to apply for the IPS exam as there is no availability for +2 candidates to apply for the exam

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

IPS exam is one of the Indian Civil Service conducted by UPSC every year in favor of selecting candidate for the post of IPS officer.
