Indian Engineering service examination is conducted by the UPSC every year. To apply for this examination a candidate should have degree in engineering in any of the following branch
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
CIVIL ENGINEERING.

Also a candidate having M.Sc degree or its equivalent in Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering are also eligible for this examination.
