->Current affairs is also a very important section you should get updated in all areas like ->follow all the news paper daily's get updated with all the issues do the deep research and make some points and maintain some note book on topics like ->politics ->sports ->entertainment and what not everything this is about the strategy that a B.Tech student must follow to succeed in pre preparation of IAS examination No need of coaching center in my view at this stage you can get coaching after completing one or two years All the best for your preparation Regards ~AdityA~ |

Apart from these keep updated yourself in current affairs and social issues. Also read daily newspaper...make it a habit! Coaching is not necessary right now....at the time of applying for IAS, if you find it difficult to cover up the topics and face doubts and confusions, then you can join a coaching class. Re: Should I start preparing now for IAS after graduation? Do I need to join coaching?
hallo friend,
As you are in 2nd year now so, it is not needed to take preparation for IAS right now... You first complete your graduation first with good percentage of marks.. After completion of your graduation you can take coaching classes for IAS preparation.. Now, you just try to read daily newspaper and get touched with the current affairs, and try to gather knowledge about the Indian politics.. It will help you to crack the IAS exam.. So, my friend first complete your graduation.. Then go for IAS.. all the best.. |

Dear friend,
Need not to start preparation at present because first of all your graduation is required more attention at this time. You can start preparation after completing your 3rd year of B.E. But daily go through english news papaers update your knowledge about current affairs. Do not join any coaching centre, It is required in the last 4-5 months. In the last 4-5 months actual preparation is only required. All the best..................... |

Re: Should I start preparing now for IAS after graduation? Do I need to join coaching?
Hi,
Graduation is must for IAS.first you have to complete your Graduation and then apply for IAS exam. At this time you should study seriously for your graduation for good marks because this is the time to increase your marks.you can study for IAS as part time study. Joining coaching center depends upon you.in my openion join coaching center is best for good marks in entrance exam.by joining coaching center you will get good marks in entrance exam which is very important. At this time you can do preparation of General knowledge question because you read news paper daily you have to note down most importantnews daily as nots to read. you have to study your course books because many question will be ask from your course books you can get benefit of that. |

Re: Should I start preparing now for IAS after graduation? Do I need to join coaching?
Yes , after complition your graduation you mar start preparing yourself for IAS examination.
Dear, in my idea there is no any good coaching for Civil Service in W.B , if can go to Hydrabad or Channi then there you will get good coaching and from where most of the IAS and IPS is prepare. Otherwise you may take different teachers for different subjects and with this follow Current affairs ,everyday's News paper and with this you have to research and make some points and maintain some note books of politics ,sports, entertainment etc... But have a confusition ,so coaching is as well as good to get "Civil Service". All the best. |
