NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research is one of those top organizations in India which provides Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The institute upholds TVET systems by designing, planning, developing, evaluating and also implementing high quality training for different technical educational institutes, community and also industries. The institute offers Master of Technology course in Human Resource development and Master of Technical Education course. There are separate entrance exams for both these courses. Master of Technology course is a program approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Basic Eligibility Criteria of NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam
The first criterion is the marks obtained in B.E from second year to final year and the next one is the Aptitude test. The two conditions are given separate importance for admission. 60% priority is given to the marks obtained in the B.E. (II year to Final year) and 40% priority is given to the Aptitude Test
Qualifying Examinations for NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam
The applicants should hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree from any of the Universities that are recognized by University of Madras, Chennai. Some seats are being reserved for candidates with B.E./B.Tech degree and who are working as teachers in any of the Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges in Southern Region. These candidates are being sponsored by the Directorate of Technical Education.
Age Qualification for NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam
The candidates who have completed the age of at least 21 are eligible to appear for this entrance exam. They have to produce the certificates to prove their age at the time of admission failing which their admittance will be terminated.
Who can apply for NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam?
All Indians are eligible to apply for this exam. Foreign candidates who will fulfill certain other criteria as specified by the authority can also apply for this exam.
Eligibility for the Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO for NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam
Foreign students and NRI’s will be allowed to appear for the exam, if they hold a valid Indian passport which confirms their citizenship.
Exam Pattern of NITTTR M. Tech Entrance Exam
The detailed syllabus of the Aptitude test includes the following areas.
- Human resources development
- Conduct of programs
- Development of learning packages
- Organization of HR departments
- Training program development
- Evaluation
Aptitude test consists of objective nature questions. The total number of questions in the Aptitude Test will be 120. There will be one or two structured queries as well. These questions are meant to evaluate the entry behavior, aptitude, likely contribution, career goal, etc.
