Indian Navy invites application for various posts in NAIC/ Education and Logistics departments. Graduation/ Post graduation in respective subjects is the desired qualification. Candidates who fall in the age group of 19 ½ and 25 years are eligible to apply for this post.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates who have the required educational qualification are eligible to apply for the below mentioned posts.

NAIC: Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in any of the below mentioned courses from a recognized University is the minimum educational qualification.

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering

Apart from this, those who have completed Post Graduation in Electronics or Physics are also eligible to apply. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination.

Education: Those who have completed any of the following courses are eligible to apply for the posts in this department.

• Master of Science in Physics
• Master of Science in Mathematics
• Master of Science in Operational Research/ Analysis
• Master of Science in Meteorology/ Oceanography
• Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences
• Master of Science in Chemistry
• Master of Arts in Hindi
• Master of Arts in English
• Master of Computer Applications

Those who have completed Master/ Bachelor of Technology or Engineering in below mentioned subjects are also eligible to apply for this post.

• Computer Science Engineering
• Information Technology
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Communications Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Telecommunication Engineering

Apart from this candidates who have completed Master of Technology in Meteorology/ Oceanography or Atmospheric Sciences from a recognized University are eligible to apply. Those who have completed Masters in Science subjects are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination. Candidates who have studied engineering subjects are required to obtain at least 60% marks so as to be eligible.

Logistics/ Works: Those who have completed any of the following courses are eligible to apply for the posts available in Logistics division.

• Bachelor/ Masters in Commerce
• Bachelor/ Masters in Arts in Economics
• Bachelor/ Masters in Business Management
• Bachelor/ Masters in Computer Applications
• Bachelor/ Masters of Science in Information Technology
• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Material Management
• Chartered Accountancy
• ICWA

Those who have completed Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in Civil Engineering or Architecture are eligible to apply for the job positions in Works department. Minimum marks required for qualification is 70%.

Age Restrictions:

Candidates who have completed 19 and half years of age at the time of application are only eligible to apply for the post except Education department. Minimum age limit for the jobs in education department is 21 years. Upper age limit is 25 years.

Physical Standards:

Male candidates are required to have minimum height of 157 centimeters and that for female candidate is 152 centimeters. In addition to this, they should have eye sight as per the notification issued by the organization.
